Synapse Motorsport and Brett Sandberg back for 2011 Touring Car season.

2010 was a breakthrough year for the Synapse Racing Team and rookie Brett Sandberg from Allendale, NJ. competing in the full season with podium finishes and a 3rd in the overall Drivers’ Championship.

This year Synapse Racing is switching gears from the Acura TSX to a pair of new Honda Civic Si’s. Synapse will begin the season with one car followed by a second freshly built car later this year. “I am so pleased to team up with the Synapse Crew again for 2011 and can’t wait to fight up front with our new Civics” Sandberg said.

In addition to the new cars, “we are thrilled to have the support of so many top companies in the motorsports industry to make our new program better than ever. Honda Performance Development (HPD) has been a tremendous help getting our program for 2011 up and running and we are excited to promote the Honda brand. Mohawk Honda of Scotia, NY will be supplying our factory Honda parts throughout the season and one of the racecars will be on display at the Scotia, NY based facility. In addition, Moton Suspension , Hasport Performance, Skunk2, Hawk brake pads have all come through in an effort to see Honda back on top in the Touring Car Field” owner Morgan Spurgas said.

Anxiously awaiting the start of the 2011 season, Synapse Racing will début there new Civic Si’s at the Acura Grand Prix of St. Petersburg with very high expectations of both driver and car.
