Siebens Joins SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series as Public Relations Manager

TOPEKA, Kan. (April 13, 2010) – SCCA Pro Racing today announced that Nate Siebens has been named public relations manager of the SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series for the 2010 season.

2010-ta-logo-1-300x82Siebens is a 14-year veteran of motorsports media and public relations, including public relations stints with sanctioning bodies such as CART/Champ Car and GRAND-AM. He began his career in motorsports in 1996 with IndyCar Racing Magazine.

“I’ve been fortunate to see a great deal of exciting Trans-Am racing action through my years in motorsport, and I am excited to be a part of the series’ next chapter under the SCCA umbrella,” said Siebens. “The 2010 Trans-Am Series schedule brings the series to a bunch of great venues and I’m looking forward to a great season. I’m obviously grateful to SCCA for giving me this opportunity.”

Siebens founded his own company, LCS Public Relations, in 2007. Through his company, Siebens will oversee public relations efforts for the Trans-Am Series, working in concert with SCCA’s in-house public relations staff. His duties include feature articles, press releases and media materials for Trans-Am.
