Trans Am veteran driver Pete Halsmer, TA2 winner in the season’s first round at Mosport, is back in the saddle this weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Halsmer sat out the last round at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with pain in his back. But after examinations from a doctor Halsmer says he’s ready to get back in the Trans Am battles.
