Trans Am veteran Peter Halsmer won the Trans Am TA2 season opener at Mosport. Sunday he won his second race of the season taking round four at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Halsmer qualified second in the category behind defending class champion Bob Stretch. Halsmer chased Stretch the first half of the race but took advantage of an opening to go on to the win.
