Tomy Drissi Running the Cragar Wheels/CRP Racing Corvette at VIR

Harrisburg, N.C. – After winning Round 8 at the World Challenge GT Mid-Ohio Grand Prix in August with Rookie Mike Skeen, the Cragar Wheels/CRP Racing #2 Corvette is back with Tomy Drissi at the wheel at VIR Grand Prix September 10-12.

Drissi will be participating in the Promoter Test Day Thursday, September 9, to re-familiarize himself with the Corvette. Drissi previously raced this car in the World Challenge Series with CRP Racing at Petit Le Mans in Atlanta in 2008, finishing in the Top 10.

“We’re happy to have Tomy back in the seat,” says CRP Racing team owner Nicholas Short. “Not only have we had a good working relationship in the past, but we’ve been friends for a long time. I’ve have always known he’s a fast driver. We’re hoping to get the best out of him this weekend and if we can, it means another win for the yellow Corvette.”

Tomy will also be bringing support from Gulliver’s Travels from Fox Studios this weekend.

Rounds 10 and 11 will be held at the Virginia International Raceway Grand Prix September 10-12, 2010.
