Kaiser Living the Dream in Daytona Prototype

DANVILLE, Va. – Not long ago, racing in America’s premier sports car race was only a dream for up-and-coming British star Ross Kaiser. By winning the Radical UK Cup – with a higher point average than competitors in three other major British championships – Kaiser won the 2011 Sunoco Daytona Challenge with the unique prize of a funded ride in the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
Kaiser took his first step towards realizing that dream when he tested for Doran Racing during this week’s Rolex Series test at Virginia International Raceway. He quickly got up to speed in the unfamiliar car, posting the fourth-fastest lap in a Wednesday session – only eight-tenths of a second behind teammate Brian Frisselle in the No. 77 McDonald’s Ford/Dallara.
